This is a 1394b FireWire 800 Extension Cable.  This hard to find cable is great for those who just need some extra distance between their device and computer.

FireWire 800 Port Saver
While a cable can wear out, and it's an inexpensive replacement, if you let the port in your computer wear out, you're in for an expensive repair.  Our customers routinely use this cable for that purpose.  Let the cable be the consumable item, not your expensive laptop.

Panel Mount Connector / Developers
If you're a developer, you can appreciate the fact that we put a panel mount connector on the end of this.  We have drawings with all dimensions available for your reference, contact us at the e-mail or phone below for that information. The cables include a matching 4-40 screw and nut kit with each cable for easy installation.  Additionally, we've not embedded the nuts into the tooling so that you have the option to change to a different size if you choose.
