Universal cell phone charger
The unique Micro-B USB Extension Cable. This cable is used connecting and charging mobile devices, such as the Blackberry storm, and other Micro B connectors. It's similar in design to the former USB Mini-B standard, but it's plug is good for 10,000 insertion cycles, compared to 500 cycles for most other USB plugs.

Not for MHL on newer Samsung S3, S4, or Note 2!
Newer phones today are equipped with a dual USB/HDMI connection called MHL. Some use the regular Micro-B connector, such as the Samsung Galaxy S2, others use a new 11 pin connector such as the Galaxy S3, S4 and Note 2.
