FireWire 800 Optical Repeater
This is an industrial FireWire Optical Repeater! It allows you to
connect FireWire devices that are up to 1000 meters away via fiber optic
cable and two transceivers.
Why would I need this?
This FireWire extension kit is used to extend a current FireWire connection, such as cameras, drives, and other FireWire devices.
Compatible with FireWire devices
it doesn't matter what brand, make or model your FireWire device is, a
standard 1394b port (9 pin) is used on the device, and a cable that
changes it to a 6pin to 4pin are readily available on our
FireWire 800
cable page.
